    CUCV Radiator Replacement

Looking for another shop that can do the re-core process....Not done trying anyway. In the meantime, I did find this one. It seems to be the right one other than 3 core instead of 4 and is a little narrower. I am just leery of the possible quality based on this huge price difference from...

So we have been working on fixing all kinds of leaks in the M1028 and finally pulled the radiator as well. It appeared to have some small leaks near the hose attachment points. Took it to a local radiator shop and they said three days. Well, almost two weeks later they called and said that it...

    M416 Brake Parts

The brake parts were the same as on the jeeps of that era to make them inter-changeable. Most of the parts can be found on sites that offer restoration parts (Kaiser Willys is one). Are you replacing because they are missing? You might even try posting in the classifieds for parts wanted as many...

    CUCVRUS Repair Projects

Working on trailers is fun and generally you see the results of your work much faster than something with an engine in it. Restoring M100/M416 trailers is what started me down the green iron road LOL. Looks great so far CUCVRUS!

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

So, we went to AutoZone to return the motor mounts. We asked about looking at any mounts they had in stock for 80's Chevy trucks. The guy had mounts for an 82 1 ton truck and they had some in stock. The guy brought one out and we compared that to the old one from my CUCV.....exact fit. Weird...

Thank you...someone has been in this engine before then as we found exhaust manifold gaskets on it (one was leaky and ticking).
