Legal Issues that could effect all MV Owners

Fairly new to this thread. Want to point out that legislators are interested in voters in their district, or those that appear to be voters in their district. There are over 50 SS members in Georgia. With a little effort, you should be able to triple that in legislative contacts. Did you ask...

    Rejuvenate 6TMF battery

I got 2 very nice pulse chargers for free from discarded jump start packs. I took one apart to see if or how they regulated charging, and found that it had a pulse charger inside. Extracted them and put them in small cases I had. Pulse charging will definitely extend the life of a flooded lead...

LSSV: 2005 Chevy Crew Cab, Fl to VA and back.

Blower wheel looks clean, like it was barely used. I would lube the motor bearings and wire her up. Judging by the amount of rust, interior has been very damp or maybe wet.

    tranzilla t-56 for m1008 m1009

It takes lots of amps to melt terminals. 1. the battery posts and connectors both must be clean, shiny and tight, or this can happen on a 24 volt system when starting loads are imposed. 2. unlikely alternator - even if shorted, could produce that much amperage without opening the fusible link...

    tranzilla t-56 for m1008 m1009

That trans shop is about 20 miles from me. Trans looks awesome. Way more than a stock 6.2 needs. They sell beefed up transfer cases too. Could not find cost on website - probably more than you paid for 1008 Unless you are going for some heavy engine mods, you do not need that much capability...

Catastrophic Ibis Tek tow bar failure; snapped like a twig.

I have been in similar situations. I sometimes felt that the only objective was to get the incriminating evidence out of my hands.

    WC-51 Restoration or Bust!!

Zout, ya gotta remember where the man lives. COMFORT, Texas. He is used to working in comfort. It is now around 40 Deg. there! Too cold to work. He will continue his excellent work when the temp gets comfortable.

I'm having a problem with new Doghead Relay

Agree - anything starts better on 24 volts. (DH - before your time, When 6 volt starters were the norm, that is about what they said about 12 volts)

I'm having a problem with new Doghead Relay

Will start fine as 12 volt system with 12 volt starter and big battery or 2.

 EXACTLY what I do, even on civy vehicles. Won't corrode or turn green in damp environment.
