    Operation Mighty Mite Miracle

Another update from Doc: I removed the old seal. It was a leather seal. Too "old school". The new neoprene rubber is superior. I installed the new seal and reinstalled the pitman arm.

    Mitsubishi Mighty Mits

I know practically nothing these vehicles. Are there any models that are street legal in the US? EDIT. I asked Google and answered part of my own question. Mini trucks are legal on Florida roads with posted speed limits of 35 MPH or less.

    CUCV four color MERDC camo?

I really like the MERDC paint scheme on CUCV's. It's rare and unique. :-) I may just repaint my M1009 in the desert verdant in post #8. :-)

I like it, doghead! It looks really cool! I love the 4x4 and dump bed. Far more versatile than a Mule!! [thumbzup] 8) :-)

    Hello from the Netherlands

Welcome to Steel Soldiers!! If you have to replace the starter, I HIGHLY recommend buying a gear reduction. They spin faster than conventional starters. :-)

Jwade - you have been an absolute blessing to us here. Thank you for helping us out. [thumbzup] Thank you for directly supporting me in a thread a long time ago regarding a SS member that is a 'man' and likes 'dodge' vehicles. Is there anyone that you could volunteer, voluntell, cajole, beg...

    Bullet proof glass

A long time ago I worked with acrylics. I also worked in professional tech theater. Have you considered alternatives to real bullet resistant glass? Clear acrylic panels might be available in the same thickness as the bullet resistant glass you seek. The acrylic sheets are obviously not bullet...

    Survival 109 build

I just had a semi-lucid thought, Scott. To add strength, you could install an eye in the top left corner of the door and another eye in the bottom right. Pick up a piece of piano wire and a turnbuckle. String the piano wire through the eyelets and to the turnbuckle. Use the turnbuckle to adjust...

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Will the cable fit in the left radio knob hole? If you move the cable to that hole, will it reach the throttle pedal bracket?

    Operation Mighty Mite Miracle

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

I really like your idea of adding a HMMWV throttle control, Ilikemtb999! [thumbzup] I use an aluminum baseball bat as a hand throttle, I have a backup hand throttle - a metal handle from a small push broom. Both work for now, but someday I may follow in your footsteps. Please post more pictures...
