Check the positive battery cable where it passes the back left corner of the engine. Rumor is it rubs there and could cause a short. Have your batteries load tested. Get a volt meter and check the actual voltage. If I were to guess, I would say the regulator on the alternator has failed.

I concur with Artisan about using 98G to transport your truck. He has delivered more than a couple to me, and is very dependable. I also serve as a shipping/storage hub for him, in case you need a place to repair a broken down truck midway thru the trip.

For a bed vibrator, use a direct drive starter motor with an out of balance weight on the end. That is all the commercial ones are, a starter motor with some mounts and a weld on plate with threaded bolt holes. No I don't own one, yes I have seen them work and they work well.
