They added so the new equipment wouldn't use the brake systems and cause an addional load on that system. Would hate to lose you brakes due to an issue with the new systems. They explained this in the show to answer questions posed by this group.

I just think they look mean. Unfortunately, I do not have a CDL or even an air brake cert, so I am not allowed to even drive a M900 series truck at this time. Probably doesn't help that I live in an HOA and while they have ignored the deuces I park in my back yard, a HET may be pushing it. :)

I have been getting very good mileage on the HWY. Something close to 12 mph. I need to take a few more readings to get an average, but that is what I received on my recovery of the truck coming from OK to Texas.
