Everyone needs a military truck corner!

I offer rides or tour to any neighbor that shows interest, but haven't volunteered it at the block type parties that we have a couple times a year. I am a little concerned about raising issues with people that were unaware. Out of sight, out of mind type position with a serious dose of good...

Everyone needs a military truck corner!

I'm actually growing Neil Stevens Holly along the fence line. It is suppose to grow about 3' per year and will make a very tight/clean hedge. First year it only grew about a foot or so, but should speed up now that the roots are established.

    M923 Restoration and RV conversion

Do you know who makes the shower/bathroom set up in your link?

    I won a 934A1 last week.

Congratulations on the new truck. Look forward to seeing your RV build.

Everyone needs a military truck corner!

Home Owners Association. Basically the neighborhood has additional "codes" over and beyond city codes. e.g., probably couldn't paint your house hot pink or any other extreme color, as noted above.

Everyone needs a military truck corner!

I have to play nice since I am in a HOA. I have blocked view from the street per HOA rules, but want to keep neighbors happy so I don't get harassed. Bushes are planted and growing, In a year or two they will be tall enough to block view, and keep everyone happy. I do have neighbors who like...

Everyone needs a military truck corner!

I'm growing hedges now so I can park all my trucks in the back yard. I don't want unhappy neighbors, so until I can block their view, no military truck corner for me... yet.

Registration of trailer in Texas Help

You will pay $10 per year up to 2018 which is the end of the present 5 year period. (All FMVs re-register on those 5 year anniversary years.) Trailer titles mean very little on small trailers like this. If not going for a FMV I would not title and just report it as 3999 lbs. Registration...

Registration of trailer in Texas Help

If you want to register it as a FMV, you (now) have to have a title in Texas. If you want to register it as a non-FMV trailer then you are right if it is under 4000lb gross. I went through this last week at the Lewisville tax office, and they pointed out the new text that was on the present...

    M923A2 Engine Swap

Why does the army consider red-line around 2200-2300 with the engine if it can safely spin at such a high RPM? (honestly curious, not a hidden jab or attack of the 3200 RPM number.)

    Another CTIS question

Please take pictures if you can and let us know how it goes. I'm thinking purely of myself. :) I am thinking of getting an 5 ton A2 and it looks like working on the CTIS is a major experience of ownership. :) ... also, I'm sure there are others that may be able to help and pictures always draw...

cant fit in m35a3, too tall, feel cramped.

hmmm... either someone replaced your original set with the adjustable or put an A3 set into my M35A2C. Can't imagine someone wanting the non-adjustable set if they had a choice though. Adjusting the pedals down made a huge comfort difference. My 109 has the standard springer seat, and pedals...

So who has bumped the power on a 6CTA cummins

Do you know if this build was ever posted? Possibly some keywords that I could search? Looks like an amazing build, thanks for the pictures.

cant fit in m35a3, too tall, feel cramped.

My older 1972 M109 had adjustments, my 1987 M35A2 Air force truck did not. After driving the M109, I immediately modified the Air Force truck so I could adjust the pedals down a notch like the older trucks allowed by design. (Ref. the pictures in the link above.) I am also running HMMWV seats...

    5 ton winch on Deuce?

Just bought two 20k winches. Will be exploring this option myself. I dont see weight being an issue, more concerned if it will fit between frame rails. I don't have the winches in hand yet. How hard is it to find the pto drive for a deuce? Should I consider this purchase a good excuse to...

    M1101 vs. M1102?

Wow, MEP 004A is a big generator. What do you plan on doing with the 15KW capability?
