    The strip does go in first. I used aluminum pop rivets on the front of the door but had to grind them down as they stuck up a little too high.

    I finished spray painting the stencils I got from Rick Larson and installed the canvas cover from New Life Canvas.

    Anyone have a head gasket "weep" on their Deuce?

    My '83 AM General also weeps below the head gaskets. Has done so so for the year that I've owned it. I've never noticed bubbles and all the fluid levels stay normal. Just gonna keep an eye on it for now.

    I had to do some "surgery" on my wire also. I cut and "unbraided" the wire sheath then cut the wire inside. I reconnected the new to old wiring using a butt connector that has glue inside that seals the connection when heated with heat gun. I then connected the braided sheath and soldered part...
