    Looking to get a Deuce

ATP, the price issue depends on what you want to do with the truck. If you want to spend your time driving it, pay more and get one that has been gone through. If you want to tinker with it, save some money and do the TLC yourself. The benefit of that is it allows(forces?) you to become familiar...

    Looking to get a Deuce

Welcome to the site! I bought my M35A2 (deuce-and-a-half) in March, 2012. I have no background in auto mechanics and have only a couple of socket sets, open-end wrenches, and misc. hand tools. I have purchased a set of specialty wrenches for changing the alternator belt but that's about it...

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

Biggins- I've heard from guys who used the house paint that after it cures for a few months it won't scratch off. Apparently C-4 is required to remove it at that point!

what did you replace your 3" heater vent hoses with ?

Not that I know of- I took my glove box out for better access to the defroster outlet. Maybe some silicone spray on the metal parts might help.

what did you replace your 3" heater vent hoses with ?

Repo3004- it's just generic hose used to connect from a cars A/C fan to the outlets in the dash. It's not on the web site but the stores have it hanging on the parts shelves behind the front counter. Not every Autozone out here carries it- you may be having the same issue there. While looking...
