Please talk him out of this

Case bought out IH so you might can find what Case calls it now. The zinc helps coat the parts inside the engine and protect them. You can even find newly produced antique car oil $$ that has zinc in it still. Right now diesel oil still has it.

Please talk him out of this

I like to use Rotella diesel oil straight 30 weight in these old engines. It still has zinc in it and the straight weight means my oil pressure gauge does not drop to zero once the oil gets hot.

    M211 crew cab crusade

I had not thought about building up the area around the exhaust port with a ceramic material. How much does it shrink when it cures? I was thinking maybe it could be used around all the ports to help seal the gasket. Thoughts?

It started by me winning a soft top bow on e-pay for $15. I talked to the guy on the phone up in Illinois about a friend of mine driving down from Chicago to pick up the bow. He was telling me how he had sold his truck. So I asked if he had any left over parts. Sure enough he had the air...

    Getting Bear’s Trucks Going

Yes a new power piston, nice and snug. I am using real gas but only have a gravity feel system, so syphon action is all I have. One of my friends says she wants to hibernate for the winter. rofl

    Getting Bear’s Trucks Going

Well I got the girl running and she idles well. I am still not sure I am getting enough fuel flow or something is not right with my carb rebuild. When I go to throttle up she sputters and dies. I would guess it is the power piston. Oh well out of time for this week and will have to play...

    Getting Bear’s Trucks Going

Of the two trucks I got from Papabear one was a runner and is put up for now. The other had been a runner at one time although PB said it would downshift on its own for no reason. I am thinking junk is in the hydraulics of the transmission. So I wanted to focus on getting it moving so I could...

Just the other day I was reading in the PS Mag about Army Maint guys trying to use the M34/35 master cylinder in the M211/M135. They said the G749 series had the check valve in the Airpack and that the M35 had the check valve in the Master Cylinder. They said not to have the check valve in...
