    Winterization kit for M1008

Me too! They used to be all over the place and nobody wanted them but now they are like hens teeth. Armada put one on a M1009 a few years back and said they are a pain to install but nice once installed. Up here in the snow zone it would be nice to have one truck equipped with it.

    Lansing MI M818

I do not have three drivers. As of now we plan on taking my CUCV down, towing it behind one M818 and the 3rd M818 behind a M818 #2.. That way we don't have to go back to the base after a truck. This is just what I discussed with Eric and have not talked with Glenn yet but I know doghead has been...

    A question for MKT owners

What about a heavy duty 8 lug electric brake axle swap? Or mounting the kitchen part of the unit on a tandem axle car hauler trailer frame with electric brakes? You would be lowering it and have brakes? And then it would not be so hi to walk up in it either.. Just a thought.

    A question for MKT owners

Don't forget to take into account the high center of gravity on the MKT.. Without brakes to help it stop it, it will tend to push down and under the pulling vehicle lifting the rear tires and throwing it wherever it wants. Your M1028 should do it with some weight in the back and maybe a...

new early dodge owner please help identify this truck

There is two valuable things left on that truck that should be saved.. The Spitfire head off the engine, and the intake and exhaust manifold set. The rest is scrap.. The motor is no doubt full of water and not savable. That should be the long block flathead maybe a 237 or 251 and those manifolds...

    6.2 to 727 adapter??

I have several CUCV's and they all run very well.. I think I will just put the utility box on one of the M1028's and then put a M101box on this truck and call it good. The truck only has 11k for miles on it though. The motor has a new carb, new distributor, new plugs and wires, oil change,new...

    6.2 to 727 adapter??

The 6.2 has a pretty good torc curve and this would be a pretty simple swap if the adapter plate was still readily available and affordable. But its not, so next in line would be A complete driveline swap..This would work but then just use a chevy truck and have a better front axle,power...

    6.2 to 727 adapter??

The 360 was on the table but the plate was empty.. I can't seem to find one of them in good working order in these parts?? I really would like to delete the spark plugs but it's so much hassle in this particular application. All the upgrades you mention would cost me more than 3 - 6.2's.. I am...
