I was checking out a civi blazer a bit ago, and was told that with a class 3 hitch it was capable of 7000lbs. The hitch said 6000lbs though. I don't think there are any major differences that would effect towing capacity between the two versions.

They have been on ebay in the last couple months, but the guy is asking over a grand for them. He advertised that he is testing them to weed out the bad ones, so he must have a shop. I think he was out of Alabama. I would be interested in a GB, but I imagine that it would be a nightmare...

Please reread what you wrote it is a bit hard to read. Also you need to post your location in your signature line. You have c-clip axle which means you need to remove the differential cover and pop the c-clips off of the axle shafts in order to remove them. Welcome to Steelsoldiers.

There are no more Dana 60 fronts from what I have seen at that location. Just some GM 10 bolt front and rears for the blazer. I got a kick out of the average $50 selling price of the GM10 bolt rears after they lied about them being 5/4ton axles.

It is up to 10 million dollars which seams awful high for scrap.

I am planning to win one of these. If anyone needs help picking an axle or two up I might be able to help in getting them to Richmond anyways which is right off of 95 saving whoever four hours driving.
