I don't know if I am off my rocker here, but for $5800 that truck better be near perfect. On GL they seam to go for $2-3K most of the time. On ebay I have seen both above and below that.

I am no expert on this, so others should chime in. I believe that your only worry is when inflating the first time after a tire change. During that inflation everything should have seated itself properly, or exploded. Until the next tire change you should be fine, I think..... And don't...

One of my long time friends has a plate in his head from a rim comming apart when inflating. I think he was stationed in Germany when it happened. When he woke he was back in the States. Luckly he made it ok, and even has some disability pay to boot. Oh and he has some memory problems too...

With replacing the mechanical fan with a fan that is not on all the time how do the other parts that rely on that air flow hold up. The air compressor would be one obvious one, but I am sure others drop alot of heat to that air flow. I guess this could be more of a problem at low speed.

Well yeah since it is catagorized as a 3/4ton truck it is exempt from EPA stuff, but that sticker is great. Especially with the emissions being extended further up the duty classifications now. It would make it a lot faster if smog checks come my way, and an easy laugh when a friend pissed...

Another gearing fix using a 205 would be to find a divorced 205. Install a 3053A overdrive deuce transmission infront of it. Then from what I have heard you can use a light industrial trucks bellhouseing to hook the 3053A to the engine. I am curious how he gets his interior to look so nice...
