I have seen prices all over the place for clean ones. watched one sell for 2500 to 13,000. I cried when I missed out on the 2500 one.
Might look for another one to play with when I get back to work. But the next one I will leave as a flat bed.
I say save it. Yeah it looks bad right now, but as was mentioned before there has been much worse brought back to life.
Just stripping the paint off and giving it a new coat will make it a lot better.
Jason,
What all parts are you looking for? I know of a couple sources for parts.
The homemade parts that we built are the toolbox, the underbed mount and the ammo racks.
When I went to pick up my trailers out in Ohio, I was told I would need a trip permit from Ohio to get them home, the state of PA would not give me one.
So find a AAA or a DMV down that way on your route there and pick one up.
I still loved the one on ebay, it was a 2006 rebuild the person wanted 2 grand for. It has come down a little now. I hope I could sell my second 2006 rebuild for that much.
When I bought my trailers a couple months ago I paid 550 for 2 of them. When I resell the one, I will be asking for that...
Nice looking truck, I have nothing but nice things to say about Andy. I got my truck from him a couple years ago now (see pics in link below).
First thing I would do is open the master cylinder and see how low it is. They say you should be able to tell by smell, but I have not gotten that good...
OK got some pics for you guys (and gals). Went and did some work today got the tool box mounted, battery cables run and battery attached. The sights got mounted, when I can find the clamp for the light I can get that mounted as well.
Let me know what you think of the tool box, could not find...
Unless I am missing something, one was at 0351 and the other was 0352 which by my watch translates to a minute not hours. How much have you had to drink?
Your going to be in competition for the lock. I have a light for the scope on the 106. I will be bringing out as well as that set of ammo racks for the mule
