Equipment's last deployment is to the bottom of the ocean

Seems to me the .gov would make more back by just selling the equipment, rather then turning it into a reef.

What does a Water Buffalo weigh?

The M149, weighs in at 2900. The M107, weigh in at 2280.

    UH60 Blackhawks

You guys drove me bonkers, had one almost take out one of my antennas and did not help living a half mile from a flight line in Iraq. Although, thanks to my team chief and her brain (and nude sunbathing) in Iraq, I got to meet quite a few pilots, who loved circling our FOB to get peeks.

    Turn signal/marker/ Headlight Modifacation

Or you can do like I did and make bumper posts, so I know where my bumpers and fenders are. The bright yellow color stands out even at night.

    Some kind of tool box

Looks nice in the back. I would have to leave it as a gun case..for obvious reasons. What are you doing with the rest of them?

ghosts in the bush really cool take a look

Looks like a LOT of G749's that need saved. See some parts I can use for mine. Never seen one with the cargo cage, at least looking through all the pics I have seen.

Turning master switch off while running.

Only real bad thing I can see from not having it turned on is the low air buzzer. You run out of oil, overheat you will know it. Blow a brake line and have no air, only way you would know then is when you NEED to stop.

Pics of Trip to Jack's Gov Surplus

The "C" designation stands for drop side bed. A regular M35a2 is a cargo truck.

    Ridiculous items flagged during inspection

I see Andy got another happy customer. He seems to find some very nice looking M818's, thats the second one I have drooled over. As for the inspection, those are some stupid things to ding a truck about. No sun visor...really?

    Good deal or Not

Just out of curiousity how familiar is the current owner with the truck? He says the truck wont go over 35, wonder if he has it in low range.

Check out this 5 Ton Project

It happens, I just happened to remember seeing it before. That's how I knew about it. I know I am not the greatest at searching either.

Check out this 5 Ton Project

Hate to burst your bubble, it it has been posted here before http://www.steelsoldiers.com/models-scale-replicas/45677-5-ton-brass-build.html I still love the truck though. Plastic models must have gotten boring.
