I would say it is homemade, since I have never seen a driver side mounted weapon on a deuce. Email him and see if he can get you some better pics of the mount.
Actually this thought had been brought up in the past. I suggested using a davit (tire hoist) off a 5 ton, that way it still hold a military look.

While your reading about the truck itself, don't forget your wonderful state like the deuce drivers to have a CDL license. So you might wanna read up on that part as well.

If your going to teach people about the underside of a truck, might want to use a clean truck.
When I was a certified diver, I sat on a lawnmower underwater and made those noises. It was 25 feet under water, and I am still here. Just make sure you have at least a small emergency bottle and you will be just fine.
