    MEP Covers

No, the place I am using doesn't have any other colors that are remotely tactical with this good material. They might have a black, but it would be more for me to order a batch in each color when I'm not sure anyone is going to actually order them anyways.

    MEP Covers

Everyone, I decided to start offering the covers for the MEP 802A & MEP 803A generators. Will have ones for the MEP 531A / 501A soon as well. MEP 802A MEP 803A Handles at each end Vents under each handle As with all of my items right now, I sell via eBay. I purchased a small amount...

    M116A3 Fix-up & Conversion Thread

This trailer is still going strong! Beat on it plenty. I did change the lights back over to military, but an LED set that I saved from the scrap bin.

How do you move your generator(s)?

Thank you very much for this reply. Exactly what I was looking for! Had the opportunity to get one cheap & didn't want to end up with it & it not do the one thing I need it for.

    CTIS...soo close to working properly

I have had filters look perfect, but still restrict a lot of flow from oil residue. I couldn't tell you why... it forms a clear slime? If when you rebuilt them you didn't do the air filters, I'd really look at that from my experience.

How do you move your generator(s)?

I wouldn't want them on a pallet. Wondering if they work right on the generator fork slots themselves. Figured someone has to have tried it before I get one. My current shop setup is tight and they would be great for moving them in, around, and out of the shop where the LMHC or future larger...

    CTIS...soo close to working properly

Have you rebuilt your wheel valves? Biggest issue is the filters in them causing an imbalance due to being nasty. Also, kinked hoses. Balance is the key, especially with deflation. If you think this might be the issue, try just removing all your filters in the wheel valves to make sure flow is...

mep803 goes to full overload on start up

Sounds like you have a short. Be careful. Probably why it was sent to surplus. If that is the case, it could have cause some issues with everything else as far as controls goes. I'd start by completely disconnecting the main lines coming from the generator and go from there.

How do you move your generator(s)?

Has anyone moved an MEP 802A or MEP 803A with a pallet jack? Do they work?

Acquired Another MEP-802A - A Couple of Questions

Even if it sat inside, keep an eye on all the rubber. Time likes to break all that stuff down, especially is the unit saw any JP8.

    MEP-531a LOP cable

If it is shutting off at different times, the paw/spring that holds the lever is just worn out. Has nothing to do with that cable at the bottom. Replace the assembly, it's like $34-$40 and you should be fine. The vibration of the motor is causing it to let loose like you are releasing the stop...

Get Your Popcorn Ready: Unicorn ALERT

I'm not justifying the cost, but the LTAS cab is nothing like the old retrofit kits armor kits. It actually is not bad inside, has more visibility in some sense than even the regular cab, and they all have HVAC, nice seats, so on. When they come from Oshkosh, they do well as they're balanced...

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

I already knew I'd like them, but driving the truck above at over 70mph down Highway 90 in south Texas & is being easier to talk than 58mph in my truck... wow! I have a basic model vs an A1, but no doubt, the fact you can roll at basically idle is so nice. Great to meet another owner that's not...

ECO Hubs Who needs 3:07 gears?

Sorry to derail a bit, but looks like you are not far from me. I'd love to see the difference first hand, as well as get together with another LMTV owner. If you are up for it, reach out. If not, not hard feelings!

    LMTV Fan Clutch Solenoid Upgrade

Everyone, I have been selling this for a while on my eBay store & never shared it here. I did share the video I made of it when I installed the first one on my truck with the help of @Ronmar in finding the solution. With starting a little business, I wanted to put everything together in a...
