I can build anything needed for converting it. I'm a real machinist, not some button pusher CNC zombie operator. I've also been welding about 15 years (got a late start), and fabricating stuff over 20. Longest log haul would be Cloquet, and that's 115 miles one way. I'll be driving it, so...

If you only drive it 1000 miles a year? I know the fuel economy is lacking, but you can buy a lot of diesel for what you save from buying a road truck and prep it to go in the woods.
