I replaced on of mine with the zippered boot and it's pretty simple if you look at how the old one is on when you take it off. Most difficult part is getting the boot and the metal ring to line up in the groove for tightening it. It helps allot to have a second set of hands and or some clamps.

I think it gets bumped back on easily. It's happened to me before.

That made the difference for mine when I replaced the intake pump. It originally worked fine and fired up immediately, then at some point it stopped working and I needed to press the pedal to get it to start. It wasn't an issue till I replaced the fuel filters and couldn't get it to prime.

I used a tire iron and a sledge hammer to free up a few the impact wrench wouldn't move.

I use all the evidence to make a determination of the condition. The pictures, description and code can all be helpful - the condition code being the least.

So far: 1. removable receiver hitch 2. 24 to 12 volt converter box for civy trailers. 3. camo paint. Would like: 1. 5 ton tires or singled. 2. lockers 3. Deep water fording kit (No real need - just to have it). Like to keep this truck as stock as possible so not much else.

They are cleaning it to be used as fuel and not as recycled oil if thats what you mean.

But I like my air wipers (easily adjustable speed) and the lack of power steering keeps the weaklings at bay.
