Hold each of the control shafts with a pair of pliers and unscrew the knobs counterclockwise…at least that’s how mine work.

Unfortunately those can be cut off with a reciprocating saw. Several videos out there showing those locks can be defeated in under a minute. Had a friend that had one cutoff of his construction van. Entry into a vehicle is hard to secure due to various issues. You do what you can and move on...

There two different clutch’s for the FMTV. Check to see if you have the fan that is attached with bolts or the one that is attached with nuts screwed onto studs. What truck model and year do you have? You can get a clutch rebuild kit, that’s what I did to mine, it works great and you don’t...
