I wouldnt buy it either without it running first.... even for 1k.... Also keep in mind, that... If the vehicle hasnt been molested.... the starter is more than likely a 24V starter, which arent cheap... ( probably the reason why its not fixed...) if the seller wants any real money out...
ive recently installed the full factory exhaust system from my duramax on my 09.... its 3" all the way through... but the sound is very tolerable... and i have no restrictions.... pics are in build thread...

Thanks... Ive already modded my cluster, a bit.... ( relocated the GEN lights to panel with GEN meter, added air press gauge.. and gutted my top to left ports for Auto meter gauges...) i wish i could have found this tach a year ago... Wouldve saved me ALOT of money... oh well...lol I...

IMHO....... Even though I dont DD mine... Installed my shelf without the visors... and with a Strip of windows tint and the shelf... needing the visors hasnt been an issue... ( im home today and will post some pics shortly...)
yup thats exactly what i got from the salvage yard... however the felt, was stained/jacked up, so i took actone to it.. and scrubbed it down... and than painted Flat Black...
A friend has a Walker-Turner Drill press, used machining tools to mill out hole... got it within .0060 using the larger bearing as a guide.. If you dont have those type resources.... your correct, in taking it to a machine shop... just be sure to carry the new Bearing with you, as so they...

yes... it did.. its gets "rubbed" numerous times on trails..... i have 3/8" thick diff covers to protect them from that type of abuse... I got them from Ballistic Fabrications i believe...
