Had some time to have the bracket fabricated sandblasted primer and painter. I have the new filter installed and started plumbing it. The new filter is closer to 1/2 inch so I am using adapters to connect the lines to it.

I have installed the new fuel tank, fuel sending unit and replaced all associated rubber lines.

Well while I wait for parts to come in ( Was shipped the wrong sending unit twice ) I decided the skid plate need a little work. So I had it sandblasted, than primed and painted it.

The vent pipe that goes from the fuel tank to the filler neck is heavily rusted,can I just run straight hose instead?

Thank you Sir, My 11/16 deep socket seems to not want to sit all the way on the nut. At least on the rear side of the straps (bumper side) I will have another look in the morning.

Does anybody know the nut size for the fuel tank straps? I was able to remove the skid plate but for the life of me I cannot find a socket that fits the fuel tank straps
