What kind of batteries are you running? Remember that in cold weather, batteries lose some of the rated power. I am running two and three Napa 1260 CCA and turn that 24 volt starter with no problems.

Did not see it mentioned, drop the tank, check and/or replace the sender your sock may be filthy, and clean your tank. Before I spend cash for a new or rebuilt IP, I'd do the basics. Start from the tank and work your way to the IP. Thats what I did, and my 1008 is humming!

For what it's worth, I 've put so much garbage in my tank, I sometimes wonder when she'll tank. No pun intended. My usual concoction is some sulphur additive, marine 2 oil, atf, kerosene, and dieselclean, run til close to empty. Change my fuel filter every 3 months. And of course had my tank...
