What did you use for a solenoid valve? I want to keep my flame heater working, I use it here in Michigan. I rebuilt my original style nozzle a month or so ago, but I suspect a leak. I've got stuff leaking out at the joint between the intake manifold and the head, and running down the block...

Is there any way to know whether the WMO cause the plunger to sieze? You mentioned that this oil is from a diesel engine. Could the sub-micron soot in the diesel oil cause the plunger to sieze? Good read: AMSOIL Bypass Oil Filter

Just a thought, before you try to start, turn on the master switch, get out and crack the bleeder on the secondary fuel filter housing, see if you get bubbles or a nice fountain of fuel. Then close it off, and try to start it. Also, I have to use about a quarter-pedal of throttle to start...

Over the last 2 weeks: 1) Drained WMO (filthy WMO) from fuel tank. 2) Installed spin-on adapter and primary fuel filter. 3) Changed secondary fuel filters. 4) Changed manifold pre-heat fuel filter. 5) Cleaned pre-heat nozzle of gunk, replaced "O" rings.
