    Seabee Deuce Crew Cab Project

I thought about doing the one big opening like the m135's had but I kind of like the duel fender look. If i left the orignal duel axle set up the front axle would be where the gas tanks are. Thats why if I do this I would put the axle on the back. It would be more like a M36.

    Seabee Deuce Crew Cab Project

I was making a list of all the things i want to do to my crew cab deuce this winter and it got me thinking. After I get the 5.9 cummins w/ p/s in and finish off the interior I wanted to mount a spare tire somewhere. I have a carrier from a 5ton I want to put between the cab and bed but that...

I never really liked auto's plus this one doesn't have an overdrive. I got a P/S gear box from Ranchhopper that came off his bobber and I picked up a aic compressor for the cummins 5.9.

    Seabee Deuce Crew Cab Project

The bus ran great and I drove it 2 1/2 hours home without any problems. I got it for $2700. It weighs 27500lbs and scrap metal is $300 a ton so after i scrap it the motor should be almost free. It also has the Allison at545 trans that uses the SAE#3 bellhousing so i think the Spicer 3053A...

Sam you should post some info on what you find. I'm sure a lot of people would like a/c if it can be done for cheap.

    Seabee Deuce Crew Cab Project

I might put on A/C next year but I think i'll wait to do the 5.9 cummins swap that way I don't have to make all of the brackets. I am going to put on power steering this winter.

I made a remote reservoir for my master cylinder from a Honda clutch reservoir. Now I can easily check the fluid level daily.

We used a sheet metal roller to roll the sides of my roof. For the inner support we rolled some 1/4 bar stock for the for the sides of the top and I have 1"x1" angle iron for the cross bars. I'll post some pics when I get it done.

    Seabee Deuce Crew Cab Project

Other than driving the wheels off it I haven't done to muck to the deuce in the last month. I drive it every day and put 1500 miles on it this month. I did put a EGT guage in and turned up the pump and it made it so much better to drive. Now it will hold it's speed up all of the hills and keep...
