I just swapped a pair of alternators from one CUCV to another to get the gen. lights to shut off. Gen 2 works great but Gen 1 light comes on when its gen 1 starts charging? I thought they only come on when they are not charging. Any ideas before i take it out and something simple was wrong. Thanks

Hmm i might have to try that plexi glass idea. LOL i tried cutting some other lenses out, then found out that was a failure and broke them in half too. I'll have to see if the light works better with no lense, thanks

really can you see better with the naked eye? Were you using NVG's? Just curious cuz im kinda retro fitting the B/O light system from the CUCV's we toss at work on my jeep, LOL. I had them all painted up matte black and nice then i fried the lense being stupid trying out a halogen bulb in one...

Ok i got some CUCV black out lights from work and I looked at the lenses inside and they are fried, like the bulb got too hot and started to melt the lense. Tried cutting the silicone and punching them out but that was a failure and they just broke in half. Are they even meant to come out?

Do you know the number for the TM. I looked yesterday and I could only find TM for the older 5tons.

Ok I work at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and we have an M923 and the switch to engage the front axle or the transfercase on the dash leaks gear oil out of the air lines. Is something broken because we un hooked an air line that pressured the tranfercase and the oil stopped going up the hose...

Anyone know anything about the ignition circuit board thing thats under the dash? I guess it turns the solenoid for the glow plugs on and off. But just wondering why they quit working? Can they be repaired? Is there a way to run the truck with out it? Just questions cuz we got like 20 of those...
