Good luck! I bought the Allison Transmission troubleshooting guide from Allison. I was somewhat disappointed but I only spent $15. I'm having issues with my tranny in my wrecker. At some point and time I will get it figured out.

I may pop in Thursday or Friday depending on work. I made plans to participate in another event in Little Rock on Saturday.

Any news on what folks having issues have done? I'm wondering if the torque converter is locked up if that wouldn't cause the truck to lurch and stall when put into gear. I have a similar problem with my M936. It didn't start until I crossed some train tracks that jarred the dookie out of me...

I've had mine in for over a year. Now I haven't tested the resistance but then again I haven't had any problems. It fires right up.

You don't happen to have a link to the mechanic's tips?

Is there any good material out there that describes the operation of these transmissions? I've been trying to sort out a problem that I am having and have no clue where to start or what to look at. I've looked through the TMs with no luck, but then again I may be overlooking something.

Cool. Mine didn't have much. 2 axle clamps, what appears to be some sort of adapter that has M880 written on it, and a couple of towbar feet.
