Most all Bedfords in Canada do come from Suffield. It is cheaper to sell them off here, then to ship them back home. Which is all the better for us ;) Keep us posted on what you get! Just make sure you realize it won't be your last :twisted:

I bought a set of pull-style drains at my local heavy truck store for $8 each. They are a standard size. Mine came with 6ft cables that you can cut depending on where you want them to come out. I have the cables coming out on the side of the truck by the pioneer tool rack for an easy pull each...

I would love to pickup one of those SEE's yet just for the truck without the front bucket or backhoe attachments. That would make an awesome little trail truck ;)

I enjoy smaller events. The huge events cause the loss of the personal touch. While it might be seen as a way to cram tons of events into one, it really looses something in the process if you try to replace most of the smaller ones with a few huge events. I am not saying you shouldn't have...

Wrong person. It is 63sierra10 (the person that started this thread) that has the alternator add-on. I have a 24v-12v converter in my truck instead ;)

emmado22 is correct. Very liked dead. They are well known for getting fried easily. That is why it is also very important to install the grounding wire when installing them. But even that doesn't guarantee that they will survive. The new style switch is cool, as it lights up in the dark. Though...

No, I haven't tried putting a huge amount of amperage on the connection, but I would guess that it would be a good amount due to the size of the wiring and where it was going into. After I found this out, someone who worked in an M109 back in the day told me that it is where they usually wired...

Little known fact about the M109 is that there is already 12v in the back of the truck. You can easily tap into it without any major retrofitting of the wiring system. Nice feature as it means you can just use power from the main batteries without a converter. Good luck on the project.
