    New Guy From Canada/Alberta

Most all Bedfords in Canada do come from Suffield. It is cheaper to sell them off here, then to ship them back home. Which is all the better for us ;) Keep us posted on what you get! Just make sure you realize it won't be your last

    New Guy From Canada/Alberta

Welcome fellow canuck. Depends on the price. If you can get it cheap, it might be worth it. But parts can be expensive, as most have to be imported from Europe. There seem to be a lot of Bedfords up for sale lately. No idea why they are coming out the wood-work now, but most are pretty...

    air reservoir kit install

Yup they are not expensive and they are standard so there is no modification needed. All heavy truck places sell them, as do places like NAPA. Plus like I said before, they have very long cables that you can cut depending on your application. Which is nice as you can route them where ever you...

Looks great. Keep it up. Need to be ready for the zombies as soon as possible ;)

    air reservoir kit install

I bought a set of pull-style drains at my local heavy truck store for $8 each. They are a standard size. Mine came with 6ft cables that you can cut depending on where you want them to come out. I have the cables coming out on the side of the truck by the pioneer tool rack for an easy pull each...

Unimog SEE sold on EBAY today......

I would love to pickup one of those SEE's yet just for the truck without the front bucket or backhoe attachments. That would make an awesome little trail truck ;)

Yup Mike is MKT Man ;)

    MKT power converter

Or even better, just buy an MKT power inverter and skip trying to jerry-rig something. Did you try posting a wanted ad for a unit? They are rare, but not impossible to find ;)

    sanctioned rallys?

I enjoy smaller events. The huge events cause the loss of the personal touch. While it might be seen as a way to cram tons of events into one, it really looses something in the process if you try to replace most of the smaller ones with a few huge events. I am not saying you shouldn't have...

Pretty darn decent shape for an old gaser. Looks like you have something good and solid to work with.

    m211 with 302gas to cat 3208

If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If the current engine runs fine, then leave it be. As hippiedude stated, I doubt you will be able to fit the cat into the engine bay and be able to mate it to the hydromatic transmission. But if you are feeling adventurous, then by all means. If you do, please...

    Not another M109 camper conversion

Wrong person. It is 63sierra10 (the person that started this thread) that has the alternator add-on. I have a 24v-12v converter in my truck instead ;)

    new style head light switch

emmado22 is correct. Very liked dead. They are well known for getting fried easily. That is why it is also very important to install the grounding wire when installing them. But even that doesn't guarantee that they will survive. The new style switch is cool, as it lights up in the dark. Though...

    Not another M109 camper conversion

No, I haven't tried putting a huge amount of amperage on the connection, but I would guess that it would be a good amount due to the size of the wiring and where it was going into. After I found this out, someone who worked in an M109 back in the day told me that it is where they usually wired...

    Not another M109 camper conversion

Little known fact about the M109 is that there is already 12v in the back of the truck. You can easily tap into it without any major retrofitting of the wiring system. Nice feature as it means you can just use power from the main batteries without a converter. Good luck on the project.
