Yeah it is looking more and more like a civilian version of the truck. It may of made sense to simply alter a truck that was in mass production for the military into civilian use, rather that making something completely new. Still a cool looking truck. Sadly it will likely rust to the ground...

I think you would have to paint it white not to stand out as much. Most large commercial trucks are white (standard color). I have seen some white deuces, and while I would rather see it green, it is not that bad. Pictures are from Dave's (Eastern Surplus) website.
