That is blasphemy! You can never have enough :-D I too would be very interested in seeing what they really are. They could be a true tank recovery vehicle, and they could just be some old 5ton wreckers. Make sure to take some pictures if possible.

The old deuces are awesome. I love driving around in our M135, and we hope to get around to restoring our M135 w/hiab crane some time this year. Your new friend looks good. I am sure she will clean up well.

No idea what the difference is between the M109A2 and M109A3, but from what I have seen and read there doesn't seem to be much of one. Most M109's out there today are A3's. Mine is an A3 and I have seen an A2 with pretty much all the same specs as mine. There must be some sort of difference...

Looks good. You got a lot of goodies in there. First one I have seen with the fan included. We love our MKT and are looking at picking up a second unit. We had ours feeding over a hundred people a few weeks ago and it was a blast. Yeah it can get hot in there, but like they say, if you can't...

BTW, the 12v sockets are real and work if anyone was wondering (24v-12v power inverter under the dash). I won't say what the other switch is connected to though ;)

I installed some 12v sockets to start. Also put in an extra switch. No one has had the courage to try it yet though.

I think he is talking about the lights on the rear of the truck just under the box on both sides. There are marker lights and white lights installed on brackets back there.

Unless your next tax refund is in 10 years, I think you are okay. There will be M35A2's available for years to come through GL or other sources. You can buy one from a multitude of different private companies or individuals.

I sent the guy at mvdataplates an email a while ago and he told me he was too busy and to send him another email in a couple of weeks. Looks like he is not really into selling the data plates anymore. I too am looking for a new complete set of dataplates for my M109A3 as well as an M35A2, but...

Congrats on the truck! Looks like a converted gasser. From what I have read, a lot of gassers converted to multi-fuel engines had the instrument panel modified. Also the front end looks a little odd, as there is a different grill and it looks like there is space for another light or something...
