    PNW Info Thread!

Is it possible that you could add me to PNW Facebook page? I've been waiting for approval for a while. It would be cool to know what's happening while I'm up here :)

NC Members-House to consider MV plate

I know we will be trying to pass some MV friendly legislation in the coming months in Arkansas. I was attempting to have a speciality plate for us but the possibility of our Dept. of Finance balking because of the cost is what was stopping me. Since you have started this thread, I am curious...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Here are some photos of the 5 ton covered with snow after our massive snow storm that hit on 12/25. It caused widespread power outages. I took to the streets in the 5 ton clearing downed trees and getting folks out of the ditches. I also helped to evac my neighbors to a house that had heat...

Well it turns out that it is already in the TM section: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?79228-TM-s-for-the-939-series-trucks I knew that I had picked it up from somewhere but couldn't quite remember where so I looked in our 939 TM section and there it was. It is the...

    M932 For $1892!

It's different. I call it a hybrid auto because you can actually bang through the gears like a manual minus the clutch action if need be.

    M932 For $1892!

I'm glad that you got it home. It's different going from the older manual shifts to these newer automatics. I love my 923. You got a great price on that. I was eyeballing it for a parts truck but that would have been too rich of a price for me for a parts truck. I'm just glad to see a fellow...

Pickup needed at Ft Lewis/ Mcchord Washington

Well I'm out then... Sorry. I'm off work just for today then I work the next 3 nights and I head back home to Arkansas for 2 weeks on the 18th. Surely one of the PNW guys close to JBLM will chime in, if not, then wander over the PNW thread and see if you can't find someone there.

    M932 Recovery?

Dang. You don't have the best luck with that place. If I was home I would come by and give you a hand. I don't get back until after the 18th. Sorry. In one picture it looks as though the bolt is missing to cage that brake. Did you try and hit the brakes in the 932 when it was all hooked up?

So after 6 years of saving up I bought a BRDM2...

:ditto: Was it a local (US) purchase or did you have to import it?

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately? - Part 1

Have you noticed a considerable difference with those? I know mine are shot and anything would make a difference but I want to get a good quality set.
