    M35A2 + 6-71T Detroit Diesel 2 Stroker Marriage ???

Nothing in the world like the sound of a "Yamaha diesel" winding up.

    Distracted Driving

Driver inattention, excessive speed, no seatbelts=bad juju. A state trooper buddy of mine told me that he had never been to a wreck with a fatality where the seat belts were in use. With the air bags they have now and the high speed restraint systems in cars today it is stupid not to use seat...

    My AirForce Ambulance Bus.

Still a bad ast bus. I drove a short flat faces bus when I was stationed at Fort Benning in the 80's when I was a young goldbricking SP4. It was a sham artist's dream job. I drove a few hours in the morning. Took a nap. Took the ammo humpers to lunch and back to the ammo dump, took my after...

    M923A2 Doing 80 MPH!!

My guess is that you have never had the pleasure of blowing a steering tire on a big truck at highway speeds. I have and once would have been enough but I have been blessed several times thanks to low bidders and cheap bosses. There are two possible bodily reactions to this. (1) You achieve...

    Brake cage bolt/nut

This leads me to believe your brakes have been caged in the past for whatever reason. You can get the cage bolts at NAPA or Fleet Pride. I think they are fairly standard but you might try to get an original to be sure. The dust covers may also be standard but again "trust but verify".

5 ton axle swap into deuce?

If they are 800 series axles you won't have a brake issue (800 series were air over hydraulic). You might need a bigger (5 ton) master cylinder. You will have an issue with the extra weight of the 5 ton axles and tires. The multi-fuel is not going to like it. You may also have an issue...

    WHAT?!? $582.00 Won Us an XM818 Tractor ! ! !

I hope the Interstate folks come through for you.

    Traded M1009 for this Deuce

It looks like it has been run hard and put up wet. My first thought is how many times those axles have been under water. Prob needs a complete service. I'd trade my M1009 for a deuce in a heartbeat.

    Swapping cabs

To have been built by the lowest bidder these trucks are notoriously hard to reverse engineer. auaaua I have parted out a bunch of deuces and one five ton. Be prepared to adapt and overcome and have a "blue flame speed wrench" on hot standby.:burn: If you have a "Soldier B" working with you...

    M923A2 Lance 1181

I think 13'6" is the maximum legal height in most states. You may have an issue with DOT and low bridges.

    7th times the charm?

There are brand new Freightliner cabs coming up for sale on an unnamed auction site. Just throwing that out there.

    WHAT?!? $582.00 Won Us an XM818 Tractor ! ! !

Great score Chappy. I hope I get to meet you when I come out to San Antonio for my son's graduation from Air Force Basic Training. He is leaving Montgomery today headed that way. Put in a good word for him. If my phone wasn't smarter than me I'd post pics of us dropping him off Sunday.

Deuce Billet Dual Fuel Filter Assembly

Any idea on cost for a complete unit. I only have one deuce left but the aftermarket system I bought for it is FUBAR. If I decide to keep the truck (M275) and restore it I'm going to make several improvements on it. Keep us posted on mass production and prices.

    A Frame Crane(s)?

I'll tell you like I told that Major......"I did not steal that Huey.....I misappropriated it and brought it back when I was through with it."

    Allison M916 + Mk48 Cab = 6x6 "FEMTT"

That is the nest of the rarely sighted "Dookey Bird". It is easily recognized by it distinctive distress call....."AWWWWWW SH*T". Usually emitted when it lands on the hot exhaust manifold of a military vehicle.
