Pulled the front drive engage select switch and found it was cracked. I think the 1st leak was my only one until I started tightening stuff down. My bad. Anyone got a switch?
Nothing is unusual at GL. The stranger it is, the more normal it is for them. I was begining to think they were adding time to the clock each time I checked on live chat.
Pick a few trucks near you. Log into GL and chat here the last day of the auction. Get Dog Head to pick you out a good one from the crappy, fuzzy pics and the missing description. Roll the dice and get ready to get bent over. If you are able to drive it home less than 60 days later, you won...
With the info from det45 and crazyplowboy, along with a kick in the rear from Rat4Spd, I cleaned it up enough to see where it threads together. Same story as the others - cleaned up, screwed it back together tight and now it works fine - no leaks. Buzzer is again being a loud PITA. I still...
Thanks all! That fixed that! But I discovered another leak on top of the selector switch for the front drive. Not sure where, I'll have to pull it this week and look.
I traced my under dash air leak to the Low Air Pressure Buzzer Switch. It is leaking out of some sort of weep hole on the right side. Mine is a type A (209-20-3-1 pg 7-267). Any idea if it's repairable or where to get another?
The buzzer quit working today as well. I'm assuming because of...
It's mostly dead now, which is why it's dropping branches. The Chevelle is safely in the garage - let's see it take on the 109! It's starting to develop a serious list towards the street. Calling the county doesn't help, maybe when it's blocking the road they can send out 6 supervisors and a...
I have a tree I want to rip down - it dropped a branch on my Chevelle last time I was deployed. Might be a little big and it's legally on county property, but..................
That is a very good reason to cut my locks. Not a good reason to steal my chocks (which I locked up) or my front tow ring. There was too much crap in the back to know what might have been stolen except for a toy truck that was there. Not too bad I guess.
Nope, saw it on the way out and the camera was in the chase truck. After talking to DH and some folks in chat, I can't decide if it was really a DUKW or a LARC. It seemed square looking, but I thought there were just four (FLAT) wheels.
My 109 will do 57 MPH at 2600 RPM floored. Then again, the faster I get there, the less time I get to spend behind the wheel. Came down the Cajon Pass at 40-45 in 4th gear - didn't need much brakes.
