In cold weather in your neck of the woods I would go with 50/50 UMO and gasoline. Make sure it is well filtered if it is coming from a tank that catches all the waste oil in the shop. Water/anti-freeze or other contaminants are your enemy.

I second that......you can either use the magnetic ones or mount them on a piece of angle iron and use some C-clamps to hold them on when you want to use it on the road.
