    2011 Ga Rally t-shirt poll/order thread

:shock::shock::shock: I will ship prior to the rally only to folks that can't attend (I'm already busier than a three legged dog at a flea circus). Add five bucks for S&H. I will take personal checks, USPS money orders or cash (just put it in a cheap card and mail it). Since I am a...

    2011 Ga Rally t-shirt poll/order thread

I have made a command decsion about the price of the shirts....I paid less for the tinys and more for the plus-sized ones and the long sleeves....rather than trying to keep track of all variations the price will be twenty bucks each. All t-shirts sales will be cash...I can't horse trade on...

How do you inflate run-flat tires

If the bead is broken you can use ether (not for the faint of heart) to reseat it followed by high pressure air into the valve stem. I have done it with the tire still on the vehicle but it may work better if the tire is laying flat on the ground so you can get a line of ether to the bead...

    M923a2

They are not bad trucks but the transmissions will drive you crazy when they up/downshift....usually slamming into gear. And they make a funny noise going down the road.....kind of a mechanical popping racket. Remember that everything on a 5 ton is heavier....everytime I think I want another...

    2011 Ga Rally t-shirt poll/order thread

Kenny...not so much reservations but trying to make an informed decsion as to how many to order. I am sitting on 250 total so I am hoping I don't have to eat a bunch of them. The are American made and look to be good quality. I think we had well over 200 folks there last year and it looks like...

    Camp Shelby 939 series trucks

All of these trucks will not be auctioned off at once.....there will be several auctions over the next six months or so. It is my understanding that the rule applies to active auctions.....not one weeks or more down the pike. Jeff was just giving words to the wise about the vehicles in...

    Octane

You can get it at any airport that supports piston driven planes. Be prepared for sticker shock..........it is not cheap. It also may be considered "off road fuel" so there may be a tax issue using it in a vehicle.

    GP small tent liner

The liner should be placed inside the tent prior to erection....that's the way we did it in the old days. The liners do make a lot of difference on a cold night.

    M127 stake semi trailer restoration

There is one of those two axle trailers at a scrap yard near me....still has the sideboards on it. It is sitting in a storage area....not where they cut stuff up....it's been there a while. If someone is interested I'll stop in and see what they want for it. I would go for it but it is too...

    beefing up the multi-fuel engine

You can turn the fuel to it but you better know how to drive it......in a long hard pull you can melt it down. A pyrometer is recommended when warming one up. You can go with taller tires but you'll lose some on the low end. The multi-fuel is what it is......for what you would spend to wring...
