    One of it's other little quirks was that if the air pressure drops below 80 PSI it kicks into neutral......bad news on a steep down slope with a heavy load. One redeming thing about that series of trucks was they they put Jake Brakes on the 400 Cummins....saved a lot of wear and tear on brakes...

    Left the ACC switch on, no room for running start.

    Since I have slave cables I don't have to jump start very often. I do have a set of marine batteries I keep in case I have to start a 24 volt vehicle and don't want to drive a deuce to the site. I have a set of jumper cables made out of welding cable.....smaller cables can get roasted...

    DOH!!!!! Sorry about that. I usually hang a "CONVOY AHEAD" sign on the rear of my vehicle to alert other drivers that I am a slow vehicle. Unless you are heavily loaded you should be able to maintain 45-55 in a deuce on the interstate.

    New Member/New Deuce/More Work!

    The primary filter is shorter than the secondaries. Take the time and effort to clean out the tank....it has baffles in it so you can only get so much crud out of it. I let mine air dry with the drain plug out and then used a shop vac to suck out all the crap I could.
