That being said I picked a deuce up last year for a SS member in Washington State.
He and his dad drove to my place, we did some PMCS on the truck (filter changes, fluid changes, checks on systems) and installed two...

If you decide to do the deed you might look at used school buses...they came with automatics and were well maintained.....might even consider an engine and tranny swap.

Every SF-97 I got from GL came with a FL title......the only one newer than 1976 was the M915. Never any issues here in Bama getting registration. I think the issue is with the local DMV...you may have to go over their heads.

A large twin axle motor home will put more ground pressure on a road than an empty deuce.
I have seen idiots in 4 wheel drive pickups do far more...
If the deuce is facing DOWNHILL and you have sufficient room put it in HIGH Range. 3rd gear and try to roll start.....wait till you have the most speed you can pick up before you pop the clutch....make sure switch is on so in tank fuel pump will work.
If the engine will turn over once or twice...
The south Koreans are famous for knocking off all types of technology.....we gave them a lot of military vehicles and they rebuilt and repowered a lot of them. In some cases they used our design and manufactured their own.
When I was over there I saw a lot of "Kimchee" M-37's, M-715's, deuces...
