    HEMMT drivetrain

Putting a large double breasted Driptroit into a regular pickup is possible but not very practical. Your issue would not be just the size of the engine (about 4K pounds) but also the radiator (another 500 or so pounds) transmission (another 1000 or better) and your suspension and axles. You...

Redstone - Tucson M35a2 recovery: seeking counsel

I agree with the cautions about a long drive after just picking a deuce up. That being said I picked a deuce up last year for a SS member in Washington State. He and his dad drove to my place, we did some PMCS on the truck (filter changes, fluid changes, checks on systems) and installed two...

    Deuce ground contact pressure

Your neighbors are either (A) misinformed (B) clueless (C) just can't stand to see somebody else having a good time with their chosen vehicle. A large twin axle motor home will put more ground pressure on a road than an empty deuce. I have seen idiots in 4 wheel drive pickups do far more...

    South Korean 5 tons?

The south Koreans are famous for knocking off all types of technology.....we gave them a lot of military vehicles and they rebuilt and repowered a lot of them.
