Why not find a donor deuce frame and make a trailer out of it. with the cab removed it would be long enough to mount a 20' container on.
Allow a couple of feet of overhang for balance (or find a M36 long bed deuce frame) and you have a cool trailer. Swap the standard deuce axles for some...
Commenting on specific ongoing auctions is a no-no on this forum......but if you were to go to the website of a large gooberment contractor that is the agent for surplus sales and do a search for trucks you might find some deuces for sale.
Some ideas for next year......your input appreciated.
COMMO: Do we have any ham radio operators that could set up a base and a mobile (to go out with the trail rides) so we could get ETAs on when they would be back for meals.
We all know cell service out there is spotty at best.
The...
MD......I did a police call of the area around where the MKT was set up.......I did not find it.
You might call Mike at Durhamtown and see if one of his folks could give the area a walkdown and look for it.
I have been mulling over the super single idea. Using the HEMMT rims with civy street tire super singles......of course I could use civy rims too but that would defeat the purpose of using what I have. I am a cheapskate in that respect.
I think the 915 would look badazz with a wider stance and...
Here are my pics.
I forgot to thank Poppop (fresh peas, greens and boiled p-nuts), Tony Wright (deer meat {what did you think was in the SOS:twisted:}) and the other folks that contributed food and supplies to the "Mess Hall). Next year we will be more organized.
I made it home with battery power to spare. Here are some notes and thankees:
AM General....the tune up made all the difference in the world...me and Baricade (Mark) made it back in good time. You are da man.
TO ALL THE FOLKS THAT HELPED WITH KP.......Tim's wife Pam was my adult...
I am cocked, locked and ready to rock. The wagon is loaded with food and the trailer is carrying trade goods.
Wreckerman's traveling salvageation show leaves for the GA rally tomorrow morning at dark thirty.
I'm picking up 210 pounds of fresh chicken (can't get much fresher than the plant where they process them) tomorrow morning.
I hope everybody is bringing an appetite......I can only eat chicken for so long.
With all the sides being promised we should have some great meals.
Mike......since I am bringing a hundred pounds of spuds I guess we can cook some for breakfast for our friends from "the land of Northern Aggression".
For some reason a lot of them have a deep seated fear of our breakfast staple.
I've even heard some of them call grits "farina".......I though...
My 275 had a hardtop when I got it...it has a puke green paint job that I assume was slaped on by a fire department.
Any deuce hardtop will fit the 275...same cab.
GE........I had one reserved for you.
No valve stems were included with these lots.
What you get is exactly what I got with the rims.
I have seen them available on SS somewhere.
Gimp...I must have missed your post......GE had asked about one earlier and I was bringing his so I thought I...
