Frodo,
The guy at the LA rally that had the cool looking Bobber had rims that he had adapted to fit on that truck.
They were not HEMETT rims but the process would be the same.
His screen name is WAHRING or something close.
He is out of Houston.
The GL crew there (if they are worth their salt) should at least try to help you jump it.
If the starter is bad you can also pull/push start it if they are willing. Bear in mind that if you do this and stall out somewhere you may become a "toad in the road". Unless you have a vehicle with you...
Get two cheap Wally-world batteies (highest CCA you can get) and keep them as spares.
Hook them together just like the deuce batteries and get a set of jumper cables made out of weldling cable (cheap jumper cables are chit).
Put them on a cart or some other way of easily transporting them.
I...
If you are really nuts then you are just where you need to be.......the biggest MV support group there is.
Hi........I'm Wreckerman and I'm an MV addict.
The first step is admitting you have a problem.........from there on out it is a steep slope to rock bottom where you wake up and there...
MAN!!!!!!Unless you paid a rediculous amount of money for that unit you got a deal.
That thing is packed!!!!
The pic that shows both of your hands: In your left hand is the grill scraper...used to clean the built up crud off the grill....in your right is the big can opener for the food service...
I will prob be up there next week to pick up a deuce for someone else but I'll be getting up there late so I may not have a lot of time on the lot.
PM me your contact info and I will try to take a quick look.
There are several folks in your area that have MV's and will prob let you park them out of the line of fire.
Whoever complained without first talking to you is one chickchit SOB.
I have a set of slave cables that I will part with....if you are not in a hurry someone attending the GA rally from LA can get them to you.
They are the lighter guage wire set but should jump a CUCV with no prob.
I'll include a set of adaptors.
50 bucks will buy them.
If you need them...
It was in a ceramic studio so logic tells me that is what it was used for.
Can't give the freaking molds away either.
All that stuff is still holding down the back of my pickup truck.
I need to get rid of it......next stop dumpster.
PB,
He was probably referring to an old process by which grain can be rendered into alternative fuel.
The fuel can be used in vehicles, exchanged for currency or (so I have been told) be consumed by humans.
I have four of those coils left. Enough for a large...
I have just been given a ceramic kiln that was taking up space in a friends shop.
Could it be used to bake small powder coated metal items?
Minimum temp is around 1000 degrees.
Is that too hot???
Might be some way to adjust it lower.
Any ideas???
