My truck is the second picture. I would say a tractor would be easy by just removing the middle axle, spare tire and storage and put a deuce bed on it.
Here's more of a side view. I'm very happy with the truck.
Worn tie rod, worn drag link, improper adjustment could be issues. I have 3/8-1/2 toe in on my hemmt/395 setup and run 55psi front 50 rear. I had the same issues and a little more toe in made a big difference. I have since also added air o matic steering with no changes. I had to adjust my...
None, work great for almost 2 years. No more getting under the truck to drain the tanks. My truck will hold over 50 psi after sitting for 8 hours. Got them from Eriks in California.
That's what I recommend. Then, every 6 months, put some air tool oil in your emergency glad hand and service the air system with a compressor to try and get a little oil thorought the system. In two years I've had no issues. I also put a remote brake fluid resevoir on my brake system so its...
Good job !
Don't forget to put a little air tool oil in your air system every once in a while. There is an access bolt/cap in the back of the brake air pack a squirt every 6 months in it as well.
I have a thread that covers this in detail. Tire pressure I have is 50 front 45 back. You'll need to adjust the toe. I had the same problems unitl I did these two things. That solved much of the problem...
Your abs sensor could be out of adjustment or the exciter is dirty and the sensor can't pic it up. You'll need to pull the two rear most wheels and hub to check. I did a post on this a while back. I would do this first before spending money on parts.
I started having issues with my GPW shifting. I thought it was going to need a transmission replacement. I ended up just replacing the shift tower and that took care of it. The shifter mechanism was just worn out and sloppy which caused my issues.
I had an issue with my temp sender and gauge. I replaced them both. I tested the temp sensor according to the TM. Replaced it and things looked good for a while. After driving the truck I went out the next day to find the temp gauge still reading the shut down temperature from the day prior...
Your flasher is bad. You need to replace it. Make sure when you get a replacement that the unit is well grounded. I use dielectric grease for all my electrical connections. When I ground a unit I clean it to get shiny metal and coat it with dielectric grease and bolt down.
The 3 lever light...
OK, your flasher unit interupts the signal to the light to flash. When you put on the turn signal does the light on the turn signal unit come on ? If you are pressing the brake pedal and put the turn signal on does the brake light go out. I don't remember if light on the flasher off and the...
I've got the push button light switches in both my trucks with no issues. I do have spare 3 lever switches just in case. The button switches are hard to find and expensive. Just replace the switch assembly. They are not expensive.
I had to replace the temp gauge because it would just stick. No problems since. You might want to pull the pressure sender and make sure its clean. Then maybe a gauge replacement.
