Well we are in the process of swapping our old M35A2's hard top with our new M35A3's soft top. Got the soft top and hard top off easy enough and the soft top went onlt the A2 without any problems. I had a couple of questions, though.
#1 The angle bracket that was on the A3 with the soft top, do...
I am going to end up doing a write up on the -A3 vs -A2 I think and a comparison for folks (along with an evolving parts list change for the -A3). First off, All American All the Way sir... hoo-rah.
Opinions are like a** holes, everyone has one. Personally, our agency went to the -A3 because...
As you may or may not know, I have been chasing down a starter problem with our M35A3. It is the typical solenoid issue, however, upon digging a bit deeper I may be replacing the Starter Relay as well. I just wanted to share my experiences with other SS members as the -A3 is really starting to...
Rgr, I spoke with Milbri09 on the phone today and he seconded your opinion. I think my air system is good to go. I have just never experienced the air assist before and watching my precious air pressure jump around like that kinda freaked me out.
I am going to attempt to order a relay for...
By the way, with the cold snap here in Texas, I finally experienced the sticky starter solenoid due to the frigid temps. We will be replacing that, but when the solenoid was sticking it would at least make a clicking noise when the starter was activated. When I was having the issues previously...
Ok, so I don't think it is the Air Dryer system as the valve (both quick release and slow release) work just fine with no leaks with the engine running or shut off. I apologize for my accent, but I attempted to narrate the videos.
I can say the brakes on our -A3 are definately not like a car, but a helluva lot better than the -A2's set up. Sounds like yours are working fine. They can be a bit touchy as well when they finally do grab, but alot of it is just getting used to the truck.
Lol, I was in a class at DPS when the white stuff started falling. They booted us out before 1700 to avoid traffic and I don't have to be in until 1000 tomorrow. TO bad it didn't stick here in New Braunfels.
I can't help you out with most of the issues, but you are right, the tranny fluid is oil...and I am not going to ask how you know what it tastes like!:-P
There have been a couple of posts regarding this, but apparently, the military powers that be wanted to limit the amount of fluids on the...
As far as 80 psi overnight...I am dreaming! It will hold 80 psi for about 3-4 hours. When I shut the truck down I don't hear any leaks, however. I will work on the dryer and governor, which are things that I probably should go ahead and do anyway. I assume places like NAPA would have the...
To chime in on this post, aside from our passenger's side door being sticky on our hard top conversion, I have noticed that it has to be shut harder than I would like. Is there a way to adjust the door latch and/or how it hangs?
Thanks for the input. I will keep that in mind. If/when I disable the system and remove the CTIS plates and such, what all is needed to remove to get the wheel semi-balanced before I take it to the shop?
Rgr. Will advise once I take a look. Thanks for your help, and if I didn't say so already, your first (and subsequent posts) have been very helpful. Thanks sir!
Also, with regards to the pneumatic system and my issues with it, I don't mind fixing the governor, but do you have any other...
