I was experiencing this exact same problem on the passenger side headlight and fixed it by replacing the ground wire. The passenger-side ground is attached to the body right in front of the forward battery. The wire was completely broken on mine....easy fix.

I tried the "advanced search" function and kept coming up with posts referring to differentials / axles, etc (10-bolt, 14-bolt....). I'll try to refine my search queries a little better in the future...
