    M146 Camper

Finally after the long crappy winter of plowing the butt ton of snow that we got I finally got to work on the camper. I got all the screens repainted and rescreened, the walls have been painted in the sand color from GCI, and I replaced all the quarter round around the top and have the...

One deuce, three M105s, one trip?

I second the method recommended by recovry4x4. It is the easier and safest way to haul three. Just make sure you use the pegs. that keeps anything from sliding and twisting. Also I would recommend taking the tires off the trailer that is turned up side down to keep in height down if for...

    1st Deuce Project Begins

One thing that I will say about the herculiner is make sure you at least double coat the drivers side floor. I did it on the inside of my 77 CJ7 when I redid it and after a year or so a spot where I kept my feet and rotated it to the brake or gas pedal wore a "hole" in the down to the bare...

    radiator expansion/recovery tank

I did a overflow tank on my m35a2 last summer. I bought a universal overflow tank from Carquest that holds a half gallon. If I recall correctly it was $17 for everything including bolts and hoses. I drilled two holes under the heater brackets and painted it with a little OD green. Not that it...

    M101A2 Civilian Conversion Build

I would agree 100%. I did the inside of my '77 CJ7 when I redid it a few years ago. I did everything right as did you and it peeled off every time i turned around. on the other hand I got the inside of my 91 f150 done by Rhinolinings and it has been the greatest thing ever. I did get one...

    M146 Camper

Quick update. Got the ceiling done. All plywood is up and has two fresh coats of paint on it. Thanks to my lovely and pregnant wife. M146 Camper

Got the insulation complete and got one sheet of plywood back up. Ran into a problem with rehanging the wood so I have to get some new screws and try it again next weekend. I finally got some pics of the electric and the "spotlight" setup that I made for the lights shining on the ladder when...

    M146 Camper

Just an update. I Coated the roof with a rubberized roof cement from home depot. It was Henry brand which let me tell you was some sticky, gooey stuff. I used the mesh backing roll that was from the same company on the main seams between panels, and just coated on the rivited joints. Should take...

    M146 Camper

I was thinkin expndable also but then i had a reality check. I want to stay dry while using it and with moveable sides that are 40 years are that is just asking for a leak one wy or another. I am goin to get my wiring, insulation, plywood, lights, and roof cement tomorrow hopefully. and can...

    M146 Camper

I recently got a M146 enclosed trailer to pull behind the M818. I am goin to turn it into a "camper". Nothing crazy just a bed, some heat and a/c a little carpet and sanding the floor to do stained hardwood. With the exception of the floor everything will be able to come out to return to...

    Where to get LED lights???

The ones from Rondo are the new old stock ones that are not LED. They have regular bulbs like 99% of the trucks out there. I have not seen LEDs for less than about $130. I am looking at getting some for my M146 trailer. so it would be nice to get some cheaper ones.

    Injector Seals

Actually I believe that it is the copper washers at the bottom that I am goin to need. I think the rubber on top is to keep dirt and moisture out of the injector port. Someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong. So anyone know where I can get some new copper washers??
