So I swapped my 1984 CJ-7 for this Deuce. It runs and drive ok, but has some issues as I had expected. I'm thinking about doing a bob job over the winter.
I've installed the NAPA muffler (big difference) and have turned up the fuel 2 full turns, don't worrie not too much smoke and the pryo is...
It took 1 1/2 turns on mine, but I had little to no smoke under a heavy load before. 1 1/2 and it seems to make nice fluffy light gray to kinda black smoke under load and none on cruse. For now it's way better than before, but no ware near the dark black clouds of my maxidyne 285
Mine does the same thing. I knew it was a circut breaker after I'd stopped and wiggled everything for the thrid time on the way home and the lights decided to come back on while I was scratchin my head in the dark. Luckly for me it only does it when I have the high beams on. Time for a relay! :-D
