It's one second for every 10' of vehicle length, over 40 mph you add an additional second. Just a guideline, I prefer a little more space....

NAPA usually has everything I need however some of the more one off parts will have to be gathered from surplus outfits. You can't walk into most part stores and ask for a M35A2C wheel cylinder. Fuel and oil filters, fluids, belts, possible a compatible air filter should be available at NAPA...

Read TM 9-2320-209-10-1 Also you might want to find out if it has a title and current tags, and what if any the vehicles is registered at. Some states have a funny way of telling you what a deuce weighs. ND says mine weighs 27300 double the empty weight, means I need a CDL to drive it...

I used to get 85% remaining 37" Goodyear MT HMMWV tires for my 98 chevy. I used aluminum 9.75x16.5 rims no problem. In fact used tires are easier to mount that new, I also used equal rather than weights. Radials are pretty true, Bias ply's usually have a funny shape, Goodyear MT's are radials...

You still need EUC's for M101 and M105 trailers, just not gensets or gensets on trailers or genset trailers.

All the current listings don't have the EUC warning label, so it must be true.
