Ok, here is the potential return trip;
2nd Ave NW to 2nd St SW/S Broadway St - Google Maps
Right now the whole plan is in jeopardy, do to an indecisive wife. Also EUC in OKC may effect the dates. This trip could be pushed from the Feb 19 - Mar 4 a few weeks later.
I have a line on a 36' GN...
"The removal period is ten business days from the date on your invoice. The Buyer must remove all property awarded within this time limit."
I read it as the word "from" dis-includes the date of invoice.
I've only had one EUC and all I got was the invoice...
Your mileage may differ.
You have 10 workdays from the time they notify you not to include the day of notification.
All you receive is a email with paid in full invoice...that's it.
Everyones maybe different based on the EUC process, and it's the responsibility of the buyer to call the lot manager and schedule pick-up.
I hope to let mine pay for itself, but it will all be local, and 95% will be personal or my business use.
I have to admit I bought the M915A1 and M871 because of the items on my MV wishlist they were the most likely to help pay for themselves.
I do hope once paid for they will pay for a big...
I'm a big fan of SAC patches myself... I'm not sure if SAC used that particular model...but it's got to be one of the top patches...ever!!! At least USAF...
I'm not bias at all....
3.5 isn't bad for commercial heavy haul either.
My buddy hauls a 53' grain hopper, and he averages 4.5mpg loaded.
The average commercial truck on the market gets about 7mpg.
Again thousands of lbs, rolling down the road.
I used to complain about my F350 but I get better mileage than the...
Soni, said he got 3.5ish on his return trip from the M820 recovery.
He said he was pushin a head wind and not paying attention to his foot... but I wouldn't expect good numbers from any listed loaded.
We are talking about moving thousands of lbs...this isn't a Prius.
Mine first was 9 days and I maintain a CNWDI TS, I get a SSBI every 5 years... gets easier ever time.
A lot of guys have had these periodic investigations lately.
Yeah that's why I screwed up I was thinking title which asks for shipping weight here, and registered weight which is double that number.
Two items on question... I think I confused my self.
Yeah I screwed up didn't mean to say curb weight. And I only mentioned it because of the ND thing.
I thought it was f'd up to but when I started to think about it. They are doubling the reported GVW for vehicles in the state. Which increase funding...
GVW for a M916 is 56000.
Ruppster sorta nailed it although I found his post very confusing the first time through.
DMV most likely want the Gross Vehicle Weight GVW, which is what the data plate says for total truck weight. Basically curb weight.
However you need to check because some states add weight. For example...
I'm finalizing plans for my recovery.
US-52 E to 4th St SW - Google Maps
The above is my current anticipated route.
I am considering getting some loads on uShip. However I figured I'd offer services on SS first. Help a member out, so to say.
I do ask for minimal compensation and no huge...
Most states need it to prove you didn't steal the vehicle, although in some states a bill of sale is fine. The SF-97 has more info other than your word.
Best to call the state.
Turns out ND needs the SF-97 so I'll be applying for mine after I retrieve the goods.
