Jim,
The double bumper idea came after some discussion. I didn't want the winch hanging out on the front - was trying to keep it short for use as a recovery vehicle in the woods. Am probably going to stick a 24V hummer winch out the front of the opening there in the center, just to have...
Finally posted up some pictures of the 4x4 conversion in the Photo Gallery section.
Got the wheels and tires on it today. Still a few things to finish up on it (extra lighting in the grill and in the rear), and mounting a 10KW diesel 300A welder in the rear.
Thing handles great. If...
I put a second set of air tanks on my 4x4 conversion to give me a bit more air for the steering. Put a valve in so I could either run with the second set of tanks open or closed. Finding I leave them more open than closed, but the only downfall is it takes longer to build initial pressure...
I actually got my wheels from USA6x6. Haven't had too much problem with dealing with the company. Took about 5-6 weeks from the order to my door - which they said upfront. Tires look pretty good and wheels look great.
I only looked at them in the dark here this week when they came, and...
I've got one we just come close to finishing up. I got rid of my M46 and my M816 and decided to build up something smaller and more capable for woods and trail recovery use.
I ended up using a M726 contact maintenance bed, placed the rear axle where it should be, used the duece front springs...
Noy you guys have me wondering how my deal is going to turn out -lucky it soulds like if I get by like my first.
Hopefully I should have the wheels / tires in the next two weeks. I got a call from one of the guys in the shop this week letting me know they were making the rims now.
Will...
Would like to hear the reviews as well.
I have only had one previous dealing with the company and it was pretty reasonable. Tires were close to what was described and were shipped OK.
Have a second dealing with them now for a set of custom rims and different tires. In the process of...
Super Singles
Well guys - I'll have some new pics up here in another week or two. A couple of you have seen my latest project, but it is a M35 converted to 4x4. M726 maintenance bed installed. And has the super single conversion. Double beadlock wheels and same tires on the way from USA...
I am also looking for one of these and haven't had a lot of luck coming across one. Any other sources that are known?
denisek5935 - If Ccatlett1984 doesn't want it, I'll take it off your hands.
Thanks,

Air-o-matic Steering Kit
That is a good price. I have one of these on a M35 4x4 conversion we recently finished and they seem to work fairly well.
Ziggy - let me check this weekend - I may have a need for another one of these sets - I'll probably take one off your hands. I'll know for sure...
