Re: RE: Converted van trailer to flatbed ?
Yup - He's right on that one. I've been away for a bit working on the house and site plans, but actually timing is great as I just really logged back into things yesterday.
Here are a couple pictures of the trailer. Dovetail built out of...
Haven't been around much here lately, but had time for a breather and wanted to take a minute and thank everyone who have bought parts from me as I "retired" from the hobby. Glad they went to keep other trucks going!
Anyway, I won't be getting anything else in, and have really finished...
MILRET45 - Both inner windshields, tach, and tach cable have all already been sold. I believe I still have the outer windshield frame at this point.
emmando22 - Yes, thought I already sent you a PM on this. Shoot me your Email address and shipping address and I'll send you an Email the the...
citizensoldier - Yup, as Stretch said, the plastic batt box was one of the first items go.
Kenny - You know you need the set of tires and wheels. :-) :-) They were just listed up on Ebay this evening.
I have to get the rest of these parts moved out here in the next couple weeks.
Oh - and if anyone needs the special extended rear driveshaft and pillow block for a spare, I did keep that back as well as that is a hard part to come by on the LWB trucks.
kcimb,
It has already been scrapped.
Have some engine parts, the bed, the tires/wheels, the rockwell axles, and I think the tool box left of it. Axles and tires/wheels are going up on Ebay later this evening.
If you need anything, just let me know.
Rizzo - I have a winch off the M36. One of the few parts actually not yet spoken for. $300 and it's yours. Got it on a pallet of stuff I purcahsed a long time ago. Complete with cable and lead chain/hook. Never ran it so don't know internal condition.
It's ready now if you want it.
Yes - as gimpyrobb said, the passenger side of the bed is a 2 pc dropside. Front have and back half drop independently. Makes them a bit easier to handle then the 12' dropsides.
Driver side is fixed just like a normal bed.
Tell you what - $700 and you can have it just to get it out of my...
Actually made a lot of progress on the truck today. Hope to have most of it finished up tomorrow for those people wanting parts.
All of the sheet metal is off, cab is off and still pulling parts out. Toolbox / Batt box dropped, radiator out Bed is ready to come off the chassis, and then...
RE: HArdtop and trans
OK guys, I think I have enough people wanting the parts both on the site and off, that it is just going to make sense to part this thing out. I am actually going to change things around a bit and probably start on the truck this weekend.
For those of you who said you...
RE: HArdtop and trans
Sounds good HeadWizard. It's looking more and more like it is going to get parted out as too many people need the parts that are on it.
I'll put your name on the list for both of those items.
I'm going to see how I get through things this weekend and I *might* be...
Bob H - I think the only thing that is questionable on this really would be the transfer case. And I can tell you that I drove the truck that the spare transfer case came out of so I know that is good.
In theory, could check the fluids in the engine and start the thing up. I just haven't...
