What's the history of the Water Buffalo

They are 400 -500 gallons depending on the tank. Still correct that you need brakes for many reasons!

    Who made this M149A2

149's have a cradle type frame to accommodate the tank and lower center of gravity. Older series like the m107 have a straight frame like a m103/105. Infrequently an empty 149 frame will be listed. More frequently will be tanks by themselves. The $ in resale are the bread boxes, valves in the...

What's the history of the Water Buffalo

empty I think you will squeak under the 3000lb most states use to require brakes. Not sure if tank is fiberglass, steel, or aluminum as all 3 out there, Any amount of water will make you very un safe without brakes.

    Steering woes

Insanely difficult steering,? Does that mean the wheel is hard to turn? Do you have any hydraulic winches? Hydroboost typically when bad will give you a hard pedal with no assist. Is anything leaking? On a previous thread it was suggested a hose can be the issue. They are all field...

M936 wrecker / NH250 water pump pouring water

Most stupid design for a water pump in history. As simp stated get the crush copper seal. Do your research as many thoughts/opinions on what does or does not go on it. I recommend picking up the plate gasket for the water pump and change it at the same time. Pain in the butox that job is

M936 wrecker / NH250 water pump pouring water

I suspect the shaft seal stuck/froze due to sitting up and destroyed itself once it had tension from the belt spinning it. I think you will need a water pump. Typically they are designed to leak from the weep hole.

    Harris HF antenna

Yes, if you do not use a tilt adapter that antenna since it is so long with 4 sections will get fouled when not in use: https://www.ebay.com/itm/204309006034?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=zFbiGMutQz2&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=XRGgVfBOR1i&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY The at1011...

6.5L NA GEP (Detuned) Exhaust Crossover

I had to change one due to rusted out flanges cracked at the exhaust manifold. My recommendation if the pipe is good otherwise, cut that critter off and be done with it. The job in not crazy stupid but no walk in the park either aligning the exhaust with the muffler and access to the exhaust...
