    I think the whole cv axle industry aftermarket has gone new joining rebuilt fuel pumps, water pumps, automotive drum brake shoes etc into a thing of the past.

    Since I have a fording exhaust, I took some liberties mounting my at-1011 antenna set up on the other side using the heavy steel mount .

    Looks like it could be an antenna tower ontop of the fender. They sometimes have a reinforcement plate for the fender underneath the tower. They can be towers on either side or both. That does not explain the holes on the side and does not look like the right pattern for a fording exhaust...

    Correct, not the set up seen with these ususally but anything is possible. Could have been a comms truck then repurposed. Beltfed on epay normally has the other stuff missing.

    Ab 1386u / qbeam mount. Google and a tm is available on radio nerds that can not be posted here due to distribution code. very few have a very large mast that folds horizontally and then stands up as a telescoping antenna but it does not look like others I have seen on the side of shelter...

    The hose I suspect is nothing more than being used as a cable guard/protector. Follow it along the rest of its path and report back (pic would be great) as I do not recall anything mechanical in that area requiring a hose. That area next to the doghouse is where power for radios and gizmos...
