    Russian UAZ 469 ??s

If you can get it into the country, I don't think GA will be a problem. It seems to be one of the easier states. As for the UAZ, you should enjoy it a lot. They are very simply built, tough as nails, and ugly enough to be really cool. Post some pics...

    Russian UAZ 469 ??s

Yes, as a non-US approved vehicle, it must be 25 years or older to be considered a vintage vehicle. Otherwise, yes, it must meet US DOT and emissions specs. How hard it is to title depends upon the state. Some states you could get a toaster titled, others require and act of God. Its a really big...

    Russian UAZ 469 ??s

First off, it has to be 25 years old to be excluded from DOT regs for road use. Until then, you would only be able to import it for off road use.

The one for sale in KY is a converted tanker. A few tankers were sold off before they converted them. Its an incredible example. Perfect.

    Bobbed halftrack 4x4

I think you could be on to something. You could start a whole new trend. Wait until the WWII reenactors find out. It will change the whole hobby. Could rat rod Jeeps be far behind?

    items needed for Vietnam display

A local flea market is a great place for old magazines and US beer cans. I recently picked up a bunch of Life magazines, 1960's, for .25 a piece. I can send you some belted dummy 7.62. M60 parts are crazy money, though. I just sold a complete top cover for $600.00. That chair has got to go, though.

Patton Museum moving to Ft. Benning afterall

I don't know why people always exaggerate and jump to conclusions; no one EVER reported Ft Knox was moving. Just the Patton Museum armor collection.

    Impact on availability of HMMVV's?

Not the same company, as stated a dozen times. The HMMWV is built by AM General, as was the Hummer H!. The goofy H2 and H3 are Hummer/GM. Who cares what happens to Hummer.

    Replica 50 cal

$1200 for IRACinc replica vs. $5500.00+ for semi. Replica: no worries where you go or who messes with it, one quarter the weight, doesn't matter if it sits in the rain. To some, a semi isn't real, anyway.
